Energy drinks are dangerous

Energy drinks are very popular, they often consume even teenagers and younger children, but studies show that each of them contains more caffeine than a cup of coffee. In addition, caffeine combined with other ingredients can be very risky.  

This especially applies to the use of energy drinks in combination with alcohol.

It is well known that the typical energy drink contains a quarter of a cup of coffee and more caffeine than a strong cup of coffee. The amount of caffeine in energy drinks bottles of 500 ml ranges from 70 to 200 grams. By comparison, the amount of caffeine in one cup of coffee of 200 ml of 40 to 150 grams, depending on the coffee.

Some research has been done on the younger population have shown that energy drinks can increase blood pressure and heart rate. There are speculations about an increased likelihood of heart attack, or even some deaths, but such cases have not been officially confirmed.

Energy drinks are often advertised, athletes use it as a stimulant. However, the caffeine combined with other ingredients can seriously affect health. The most common cause dehydration. It is the possibility of dehydration and high blood pressure, put water and beverages that contain more electrolytes, minerals and carbohydrates, energy drinks before.
People who are engaged in recreational sports should not drink more than one bottle of energy drink during the day, and it is advisable to drink after exercise required a lot of water.
