What causes dizziness?

How many times have you happened to stay in place, and you feel like you are going round about its own axis, or that it's all about you. There is hardly a person who, at one point not found in this condition, dizziness, completely helpless to change it.

And then, everything just disappears as it emerged and continue to start a business, forget the dizziness. But until such time as it becomes so frequent that becomes what the load in which it occurs. Due to the sudden dizziness people become insecure in their own journey, fearing lest they should fall myself and bring in even more hopeless situation.

What is dizziness (vertigo) and why it occurs, the "news" explains a specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, Dr. Goran Milojković.

"Vertigo is today one of the most common symptoms. Crowd reaction it causes, it becomes a concern for those in whom it occurs. A person with vertigo usually react in two ways - fear for his life and health, and then the reaction of the so-called sympathetic landlord. The latter condition is accompanied by paleness, nausea, nausea, vomiting, change in heart rate, elevation or lowering of blood pressure, and sometimes loss of consciousness, "says Milojković.

What causes dizziness

The basic causes of dizziness are peripheral and central origin. Peripheral come from middle and inner ear, while the center come from the brain, causing dizziness of vascular nature. These include dizziness decreased blood flow to the brain, or altered blood composition, the presence of infection, tumor, degenerative changes ...

Also, any problems with the neck part of the spine, either degenerative or biomechanical nature, may be a potential cause of vertigo. Through the cervical vertebrae of the spine, passing two blood vessels (arteries vertebralis) is responsible for about a quarter of the blood flow to the brain, so any reduction in blood flow can lead to dizziness.

Degenerative changes manifested in the form of spondylosis, ossification, scoliosis and kyphosis often lead to difficult cervical circulation, and therefore the lower the brain's blood supply. The end result is the appearance of vertigo.

How to treat and relieve these health problems?

The solution for this condition exists in the application of combined physical therapy, which occupies an enviable position, and chiropractic, and fixing dislocated (pomerenih) vertebrae, that prevented normal circulation and blood supply to the brain.

Combination therapy includes stretching the spine, or intermittent traction, then fixing dislocated, pomerenih vertebrae, or method of chiropractic.

Accurate diagnosis is necessary

X-ray of cervical spine in two directions is quite sufficient to confirm the existence of certain problems. The review is also advisable to rule out other possible causes, whether they are peripheral and that relate to your ear, or central origin relating to the situation in the brain - tumors, infections, changes in brain blood vessels ...

In these situations, physical therapy is not advisable, for the treatment of primary causes of vertigo. In any case, good history, which includes a conversation with a patient with neurological, ENT examination and laboratory give an accurate diagnosis of what should be done to treat.
